Rain Bird Launches An Online Contest That Encourages Facebook Fans To Submit Creative Photos Of Rain Bird Products For A Chance to Win Monthly Cash and Prizes

AZUSA, CALIF. - June 9, 2011) – From backyards and gardens, to world-class golf courses, to theme parks, stadiums, and farms, as the world’s largest irrigation company, Rain Bird products are found in just about every location that is in need of water-efficient irrigation.   The “Rain Bird in the Wild” Facebook Photo Contest is seeking creative and interesting photos that incorporate Rain Bird products as they are found in their everyday “natural habitat,” the great outdoors.    

Beginning in June and continuing each month, fans of Rain Bird’s Facebook page are invited to shoot and submit photos of Rain Bird products in unique locations and/or adjacent to interesting events.  Photographs taken during the monthly entry period and submitted via the application on the Rain Bird Facebook page will be eligible for online voting by fellow Rain Bird Facebook fans. The photo with the most votes at the end of each month, as determined by Rain Bird Facebook fan votes on the contest page, will be awarded $100 and an official Rain Bird ball cap.
